I came to Joyce's pilates class after several years of lower back pain, primarily as a
result of having 3 children in 5 years. The result has been amazing! The pilates, coupled
with a weight-loss programme, has completely resolved my abdominal weakness and with it
the backpain. When I started with Joyce, I was not a newcomer to exercise, but my
children were still very young and I was generally busy and often tired.
The classes are so relaxed and meditative and in such beautiful surroundings that I feel like I am going
to pamper myself, although I often notice the next day that I must have worked quite
hard! This has made it much easier to keep going, even though I don't manage every
session.
